– the opportunity to play with foreign artists. You work for them.
– the opportunity to cover specific bands. You work for them.
– the opportunity to play with internationally renowned drummers. You work for them.
– the opportunity to make music similar to that of a famous group. You work for them.
– the opportunity to say “no” to events and important names in music. You start to have a little self-esteem.
– the opportunity to make my music in front of a small but real audience. Your work begins to be yours.
– the opportunity to go on a tour, small but your own. Your work IS real.
– the opportunity for time to offer me a place before journalists. You have your own place.
– the opportunity to be responsible with my music because there are people waiting for it. Your work is yours.
– the opportunity to be myself on tours of 40 concerts every so often. Your work IS you.
I hope to have it, and I will have it.
Because the only way to be is to leave aside the security that comes with being someone else.
